A Thank You to GrandparentsSeptember 8th, 2017 By Nathan Blackburn
Thank you. Thank you for standing by me and supporting all the decisions I make. It’s nice to know that I will have your unconditional love and support. You have both helped me to decide on who I want to be and the journey I would like to take.
Thank you for giving me a family I couldn’t live without; my aunties, uncles and cousins, whom have all had major impacts on my life. Thank you for making sure both me and my cousins feel equally loved and supported, thank you for giving me these life time friends whom have taught me so much from my first word or tying my shoe laces. I owe it to you, grandparents, for holding us all together. Thank you for always putting us before yourselves and showing us how generous people in this world can be.
Thank you for raising my parents… because of you they have provided me with a loving home and continuously prove to be the best role models that I could ever hope for.
Thank you for basically turning your house into a mini photography gallery of our family. From baby photos to graduation pictures, they remind me how much I have grown over the years. To anyone who walks into your house just look at them as family photographs, but in fact each photo is a memory. A memory that I will never forget.
Thank you for making your house into a home, in which I feel safe and loved in. Thank you for making sure I never ever leave your house hungry. Even though I only popped into say hello you always gave me a lunchbox full of food “just in case”.
Thank you for being grandparents I can laugh, have fun and share secrets with.
These words of thanks don’t even begin to describe the love I have for you. You both mean more to me than you’ll ever know, so thank you for just being you.
Lots of love your Grandchild X”
